Ranger RZR 800 Tires

I purchased a Polaris RZR for our maple sugaring business. Our land is located at the base of Mt. Mansfield, VT. and it is very steep. The stock tires that came on the RZR were aggressive and looked like they would do the job. I found myself spinning more than I would like to. I started a search for tires and came across these tires on Amazon and liked the tread pattern and the 6 ply rating. When the tires got here (only a few days!) I inspected the treads and thought that they looked a little less aggressive than the pictures and felt let down. I had Road Side Marine change the tires (good job guys) for about $65.00. I looked at the tires on the RZR and they looked pretty good. They looked tough and ready! I went across the lawn headed for the mountain and the lawn was a little wet. Looked like a prime time for a quick doughnut. I got myself situated just like I always did with the old tires and turned the wheel sharp and throttled up quick. As I was waiting for the rear end to slide around I thought I would look back and see how bad the lawn was going to look from the tire spin. Instead of the RZR sliding into a doughnut, the tires gripped very firmly and the front end shot straight up, I knew I was in trouble. I backed way off the throttle and the RZR stayed firmly gripped to terra firma and ended up coming down and landing on its side.
Phew! Long story just to tell you that these tires are a wolf in sheep's clothing! The ride down the asphalt road was as quiet and smooth as the stock tires. I didnt notice any drop in speed or the crispy throttle response. The most important part is the RZR now goes where the old tires spun in AWD, but I only need two wheel drive! When I put it in AWD it will go ANYWHERE! And it does it leaving very little ground disturbance. If you are looking for a substantial upgrade from your stock RZR tires then look no further. These are your tires! They mount easy and there is no fender rub.
