5Seems to be everything they say it is.. A really great battery.
By Robert G. Easterling
When I took the battery out of the box it came in I thought the battery must be a joke as it was very small and only weighed 2.19 pounds compared to the about 14 pound battery it is replacing. The battery comes with all kinds of rubber pads to take up the excess room in the battery tray since this battery is so small. This battery is only 5.83 inches long, 2.6 inches wide, and 4.13 inches tall.

This battery has some "umph".. It really spins the starter and seems to have lots of power. It is almost two years old and they claim that the battery should last much longer than a stock battery. Also, it doesn't discharge while sitting. They claim it will hold a charge for over a year.

I have come to find out recently that Shorai recommended the wrong battery for my motorcycle. This battery is to small. The bike should have the LFX27 battery. You wouldn't know it by me as this battery has been perfect. I have just before I wrote this sent an e-mail to Shorai pointing out the error.. I will see what they do about it. How I found out my battery was to small is through the National Moto Guzzi Club.. One of the members discoverd his battery was to small and Shorai sent him the correct one under warranty.

If the battery has the life that Shorai claims it has; I will really be a happy guy.
